The Handbook is the result of research and analysis conducted during the project in the field of Job Coaching and Individual Placement Support for PMD and connected topics. This Handbook is intertwined with the other intellectual output and the project outputs in general, and it represents the knowledge base on which many of the training contents will be defined. It is a database system based on each country findings and it develops into a comparative analysis of the national contexts in order to define a European context. The final output has the form of a publication disseminated in its digital form. In detail, it is subdivided in chapters addressing specifically the following topics:- Legislative framework, starting from the impact of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (UNCRPD) and European Disability Strategy 2010-2020;- National contexts of the partners involved in terms of laws and supporting mechanism for the employment of PMD;- Existing PMD Job Coaching trainings: processes, methodologies;- Competences required by a Job Coach in each country and at European level;- Step by step guide to implement an Individual Placement Support;- Case studies and best practices in the participating countries: how these cases were selected, why they are relevant to the topic addressed and how they can teach a lesson. A comprehensive bibliography and link section provide readers with the possibility to deepen some of the topic addressed. It will become a “textbook” for the online course after the project closure.
