Erasmus+ KA204 Strategic Partnerships for adult education 5 partners from 4 countries (Italy, Cyprus, Romania, Slovenia) Duration: 28 months (1st Sep 2019 to 31st Dec 2021) Outcome: Open Educational Resources (OER) for adult education professionals
The project in a nutshell
WORKABLE provides a specific and comprehensive training programme and resources for Job Coaches who work with people with intellectual disabilities, helping them to be integrated into working life and to be an active part of the production world.
A Person with Mental Disabilities (PMD) is a PERSON and a WORKER, who needs tailored and effective support to gain autonomy and self-confidence to enter the ordinary labour market. Job Coaches must be specifically trained to provide that support with a strong job-oriented approach.
PROJECT OBJECTIVESOur objectives are:
Develop training modules and resources addressed to adult educators/mentors, coaches, and people working in the field of support to people with intellectual disabilities in “Job coaching for people with mental disabilities”.
Pilot test training sessions for Job Coaches with the support of a game platform that offers the training modules embedded in a gaming path to increase motivation and engagement of users.
1. workABLE Platform
